Overview

Notifications can be viewed via:

  • Email
  • Push notification to your mobile device (if the QuoteToMe Mobile App is installed).
  • SMS (text message) to your mobile phone
  • In-app Notification Center


Additional feature:

  • Weekly rundown email: opt in or out of your weekly rundown - this is a list of your "to-do" tasks sent every Friday.

General Behavior

You can now remove all notifications and access them directly from the Notification Center in-app.


To enable additional notifications:

 

Push Notifications:

  • This must be enabled in your mobile device's notification settings.
  • It is not possible to enable from the web or mobile apps.

 

SMS (text message):

  • Can be toggled on either the mobile app or the web app.


Accessibility note:

  • Toggle ON: toggle is right-aligned and teal/dark gray 
  • Toggle OFF: toggle is left-aligned and light gray

How to change notification settings - Mobile App

  1. Open QuoteToMe on your mobile device and tap the More (...) on the bottom-right of the screen. 
  2. Tap your name In the mobile app, the gear icon is highlighted next to the user's name   
  3. Tap Notifications.
     
  4. Toggle notifications as desired.

  5. Tap Save Changes.

How to change notification settings - Web App

  1. Click the profile icon in the bottom-left corner. 
  2. On the next screen, click Notifications from list on the left under the Profile header:
      
  3. Toggle the notification settings on or off to suit your needs.

    In the web app, changes are saved automatically - no need to click on a save button

Weekly Rundown Email

Summary

The Weekly Rundown is a personalized email QuoteToMe sends every Friday morning. It gathers everything tied to you that needs attention — quotes to review, approvals waiting on you, approvals you're waiting on, and deliveries that are coming up or overdue — so nothing slips through the cracks over the weekend. Each item links straight to the order, requisition, or expense in QuoteToMe.

When it sends

  • Day: Every Friday
  • Time: 9:00AM Mountain Time. Emails go out in a batch and typically land within about 30 minutes.
  • From: "noreply@quotetome.com"
  • Subject line: "Your QuoteToMe WEEKLY RUNDOWN"
  • Date range: The header shows the week it covers, starting on the send date and running one week ahead (for example, SEP 25 – OCT 02)

Who receives it

  • Every active QuoteToMe user who is subscribed to the Weekly Rundown (see Turning the Weekly Rundown on or off below)
  • The email is personal to you. It only lists items you own, items you've submitted for approval, and items waiting on your approval.


What's left out

  • Cancelled requisitions
  • Orders on archived projects
  • Anything that has already been completed (for example, an approval you've already given)
