Overview

The "Call a Supplier" feature on QuoteToMe is an easy way to request quotes and create orders by directly calling suppliers from your mobile app.


Call a Supplier System Behaviour:

As soon as the phone starts ringing, our system will:

  • Automatically send the supplier an email
    • The email will prompt them to reply with their quote. If they missed your call, the email will notify them that you attempted to call them.
    • If the supplier replies to this email with your quote, it will be added to your ticket automatically!
  • Automatically create a draft order for you in QuoteToMe.
    • This will behave like a Get Quotes order, but this time you are only waiting for one supplier.



How to use Call a Supplier


Step 1: Tap Create > Call a Supplier  from the dashboard.
 

Step 2: Enter a Reference Name for the call (e.g., Lumber).
 

Step 3: Select the relevant Project from the dropdown list.
 

Step 4: Tap Go to proceed. 

 

Step 5: Select the supplier contact you wish to call from the list provided. 




Step 6: Check back for your quote to populate on your order after your call.

  • The system will alert you when your quote is ready 
  • You can create & issue a PO from the resulting quote!
