Which feature should I use?

There are three ways to request quotes/POs on our app:

  1. Get Quotes: You want to ask one or more suppliers for a quote that you can turn into a PO.

  2. In-Store PO (mobile only): You are at the order desk and the clerk asks you for a PO number.
    This feature must be enabled by your company.

  3. Call a Supplier (mobile only): You want to call your sales rep
    An email is sent to them once the call connects, asking them to reply with your quote - when they do, it is connected to your phone order automatically!

  4. Create PO: On web, fill out a form manually to create a PO.

 

 

A quote was emailed to me directly from a supplier - how do I add it to my order?

Simply forward the quote to your purchasing email. It should be YourCompanyName@qtmpo.com.


Legacy customers: your email address may be purchasing@YourCompanyName.com.


Don't forget to let us know what project and order this is for!

  

 

I'm trying to create an RFQ, but I can't find my supplier in Get Quotes.

They may not be in our system yet. 

 

There are three things you can do:

  • Try searching alternate names, abbreviations, or parent company names.
     
  • Invite the supplier via email.
    • Mobile: Invite the supplier to the order by entering their email address.
       
    • Web: Click the New Supplier button on the bottom-left of the screen.
       
  • Ask us to add them - reach out to us via our in-app chat feature, or email us at YourCompanyName@qtmpo.com. 

    Legacy customers: your email address may be purchasing@YourCompanyName.com.

 

   

I'm trying to create a PO, but I can't see my project in the list.

This means you aren't added to the project. 

 

There are two things you can do:

  • On Web, navigate to the projects page and click "Join" next to your project.
     
  • Reach out to us via our in-app chat feature, or email us at YourCompanyName@qtmpo.com. 

    Legacy customers: your email address may be purchasing@YourCompanyName.com.

 

 

I'm using In-Store PO, but my supplier is not on the list.

This is a controlled list which is managed by your company.

 

Reach out to a QuoteToMe administrator in your company, and ask for this supplier to be enabled for the In-Store PO feature.

 

 

How do I get pricing I wrote down turned into a PO?

All you have to do is email us by sending this information to your QuoteToMe purchasing email. 


 

 

How long does it take for PO to get digitized once I email you the information?

About 2-6 minutes on average.

 

 

How do I get quotes for items that don't have a fixed price?

Good news - QuoteToMe supports open POs and POs for long-term rentals. 

 

Just ask your supplier for a rate sheet instead of a fixed quote!

  

  

    

I can't find my sales rep on the mobile app. Can I add them to the supplier list?

Ask your organization's QuoteToMe Admin or our Customer Success team.


Your QTM Admin can add or remove your sales reps and preferred suppliers for both In-Store POs and Call Supplier Direct purchase orders.

 
Note: The Call Supplier Direct list makes your sales reps available to both the Call Supplier Direct and the Get Quotes features.

 

  

  

Why do I have to enter my cost codes every time?

Projects support default cost codes. If they're added to your project, you can quickly select them from a drop-down list instead of entering them every time!
