The QuoteToMe application supports multiple Operating Companies operating under one QuoteToMe account.
An Operating Company is a company operating under a Parent Company.
Overview
Operating Companies are often used by construction companies to: compartmentalize risk, form a joint venture, or to distinguish between different lines of business (such as service work vs. new construction).
Users who work for multiple Operating Companies need access to each companies' projects that they're assigned to.
QuoteToMe offers a solution for managing POs across multiple operating companies:
- All POs must be created from the Project they belong to.
- Projects are linked to the operating company upon creation - so all POs will have the correct Bill-To information applied to them automatically.
- Users only need one set of login credentials. They can choose Projects from their dropdown list without thinking about which company the project belongs to!
For information on how to create an operating company, see the Add an Operating Company article.

Confgurable Settings:
- Legal operating company name
- Company logo
- PO numbering sequence
- Accounts Payable / Bill To information
- Standard payment terms (e.g. Net-45)
- PO Terms and Conditions
